These terms apply when you use Tiewise, including the free demo, a pilot or a paid plan. Tiewise is an independent business based in Waterloo Region, Ontario ("we"). By using Tiewise you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you use it for.
Anyone can use the demo with the example data and sample files, and reconcile up to 2 of their own vendors a month in a browser, without a license key.
A pilot gives your organization full access for 30 days at no cost. There's no obligation to buy, and nothing is charged when it ends. In return we'll ask for feedback. We'll only quote you or name your organization publicly if you agree in writing.
Tiewise processes statements and ledger exports inside your web browser. We don't receive, store or have access to them. You're responsible for keeping your own copies, including the workpapers you export. Clearing your browser's data removes the audit trail stored in that browser.
Tiewise helps you find and explain differences, but it doesn't replace your judgment. You're responsible for reviewing its results, for the entries you post, and for your organization's books, payments and controls. Tiewise isn't accounting, tax or legal advice.
Don't resell, sublicense or copy Tiewise, or reverse engineer it to remove or get around the license.
Tiewise is provided "as is". We work to make it accurate and reliable, but we don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will find every difference.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or payments made or not made based on Tiewise's results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using Tiewise at any time. We may end a license if these terms are seriously breached, after giving you notice and a chance to fix it where possible.
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Material changes take effect at your next renewal. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
